The Magna Project is a charitable organisation operating as a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation) in Lincolnshire. Our mission is to combat loneliness and isolation within communities. We empower individuals to connect with others, fostering improved health and wellbeing through meaningful relationships.
At The Magna Project we work with people of all ages, providing trained and skilled volunteers. We provide companionship, friendships and opportunities for new activities and events. We also work with schools, colleges and universities on education and research.
Loneliness is totally fixable. It isn't the same as being alone. It can impact on people for a variety of reasons and through a range of circumstances. It can lead to a number of emotional and physical symptoms and combatting loneliness can also help in tackling dementia.
