Our work began in Lincolnshire and its different communities with us working collaboratively and innovatively with partners in the County. Our income comes from grants, donations, fundraising activities, voluntary contributions and we hope from local authority commissioners. We have made a great start on this with the award of a substantial grant from the National Lottery Community Fund Awards for All , from The Albert Hunt Trust and The Michael Cornish Charitable Trust plus a research grant to work with people with learning disabilities and autism. This grant is through the ICS Research Engagement Network (REN) development programme managed in Lincolnshire by Lincolnshire Voluntary Engagement Team (LVET) and Lincolnshire Community Foundation (LCF) on behalf of the REN programme partners. These grants were supplemented by a generous private donation on the Charity’s start up.
The National Lottery grant has underpinned our recently advertised role of part time freelance Project Coordinator.
